Just Try Me... - Jill Shalvis Hiking in the Sierras

★★★★½ What a nice little surprise. While I’ve always liked [a:Jill Shalvis|22370|Jill Shalvis|http://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1339512543p2/22370.jpg], I’ve just started reading her back list (which can be a risky adventure) and this one shines. I loved the characters (realistic, brave, upfront, likable), the dialogue (witty without being snarky), and the setting (outdoors!) in [b:Just Try Me...|519755|Just Try Me... (Harlequin Blaze, #270)|Jill Shalvis|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1175483085s/519755.jpg|507663] Even the secondary characters were entertaining. Ms. Shalvis has a way of making a story just flow, causing the pages to slip away. There were a few things I shook my head over as far as realism preventing hypothermia for the heroine after an unplanned dip in a river that is “pure snow melt” for one!, but this one was such fun.
